Network Engineer - South East London

Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9300 series and Cisco Nexus switching.
• We need experience with Cisco ISE, including 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS, NAC and policy management.
• We need experience supporting Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama and ideally Prisma Access.
• We need experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• We need experience with enterprise LAN/WAN technologies, including routing, switching, VLANs, OSPF, BGP and VPN technologies.

Responsibilities:

• We will design, implement and support a complex enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• We will manage and optimise Cisco Campus Networking environments, including Catalyst 9300 series switches and Cisco Nexus platforms.
• We will take ownership of Cisco ISE, managing authentication, authorisation, endpoint profiling and network access policies.
• We will administer and support Palo Alto firewalls, including Panorama and ideally Prisma Access, to ensure secure access to business-critical applications.
• We will configure and maintain FortiGate firewalls, implementing security policies, NAT, VPNs and threat prevention features.
• We will monitor network performance, proactively identify issues and perform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching and security technologies.
• We will support network refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, office moves and wider transformation projects.

We are a well-established law firm looking to appoint an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on contract position for 6 months, inside IR35, with a hybrid working model requiring 3 days per week on-site and an immediate start. You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving a large-scale enterprise network while supporting critical infrastructure projects and helping us deliver a secure, resilient networking environment.
