Network Engineer - NSX - DV Cleared

Requirements:

• Strong experience with VMware NSX-T or equivalent network virtualisation platforms
• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS and Cisco networking
• Experience with software-defined networking, micro-segmentation and secure network architectures
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and virtualised environments
• Previous experience delivering within secure, enterprise or defence environments
• Ability to mentor engineers and own technical delivery
• DV Clearance is required for this role
• VMware NSX certification would be an advantage
• VCF, vSphere or vSAN experience would be an advantage
• Automation experience with Ansible, Terraform or APIs would be an advantage
• AWS/Azure networking experience would be an advantage

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions within the UK defence sector. This is a 6-month contract role based fully onsite in Yeovil, with compressed hours available and attendance required for 3 to 5 days per week.
