MuleSoft Developer - South East London

Salary: £91,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4)
• Proven hands-on expertise in API design (RAML/OpenAPI)
• Proven hands-on expertise in DataWeave transformations
• Proven hands-on expertise in REST/SOAP integrations
• Experience integrating with Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud)
• Experience integrating with Powercloud (utility billing systems)
• Experience integrating with SAP (IS-U / legacy billing systems preferred)
• Solid understanding of Energy & Utilities business processes, including metering, billing, and customer management
• Experience across the end-to-end integration lifecycle from design and development to deployment and support
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work as a team player with multiple vendors
• Preferred: experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS
• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Preferred: knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Preferred: MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Define API-led connectivity architecture and integration patterns
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders
• Develop APIs and integrations connecting Salesforce, Powercloud, SAP, Azure, and AWS
• Build, test, and deploy Mule applications using best practices
• Implement data transformation, orchestration, and real-time/event-driven integrations
• Create and maintain detailed technical design documents, API specifications, and integration flows
• Ensure proper documentation for maintainability and knowledge transfer
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments across environments
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
• Provide L2/L3 support for integration-related incidents
