Lead Product Manager Accountancy

Salary: £20,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in business, technology, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• We require 3+ years of product management experience.
• We require agile product development experience.
• We require strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• We strongly prefer experience in accounting technology, professional services software, practice management software, ERP, or financial management solutions.
• We strongly prefer an understanding of accounting firm operations and business processes.
• We strongly prefer experience working within a multi-product portfolio environment.
• We strongly prefer experience using AI tools, copilots, or agentic workflows.

Responsibilities:

• We own assigned product capabilities, workflows, and solution areas within the Practice Management portfolio.
• We develop and execute product strategies aligned with portfolio objectives, customer needs, and business goals.
• We define and maintain product roadmaps that balance customer value, strategic priorities, technical considerations, and market opportunities.
• We make informed prioritization and tradeoff decisions based on customer impact, business value, risk, and investment return.
• We drive product decisions through customer insights, market analysis, product analytics, and business outcomes.
• We develop a deep understanding of accounting firm operations, workflows, challenges, and business objectives.
• We conduct customer interviews, discovery sessions, usability reviews, and validation activities.
• We translate customer problems and market opportunities into actionable product requirements and solutions.
• We serve as a subject matter expert in accounting firm practice management processes and workflows.
• We leverage agentic AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, analysis, requirements development, backlog refinement, user stories, roadmap planning, and product documentation.
• We evaluate and validate AI-generated insights and recommendations.
• We share AI best practices with fellow Product Managers.
• We identify opportunities to embed AI capabilities into customer-facing solutions.
• We partner closely with Product Management peers to ensure alignment across the Practice Management portfolio.
• We collaborate on shared customer journeys, workflows, platform capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
• We manage dependencies and coordinate delivery efforts spanning multiple products and teams.
