Java Developer – eDV Clearance

Salary: £25,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) security clearance
• Strong experience in Java development
• Prior experience working in secure, government or national security environments
• Experience with microservices
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience working within Agile development teams
• Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot is desirable
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes is desirable
• Experience with CI/CD processes is desirable
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Java-based backend services
• Design and implement secure, scalable applications
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work with microservices architectures
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and relevant stakeholders
• Work within an Agile development environment
• Contribute to technology supporting UK national security operations
