IT Support Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements:- 1–3 years experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or junior systems administration role
- Working knowledge of Windows environments and common business software
- Some exposure to system administration, including Active Directory, M365 admin, and device management
- Comfortable liaising with third-party suppliers or service providers
- Exposure to cyber security concepts or tasks is a bonus
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable explaining technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
- Well organised and reliable, with good ownership of work
- Qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software issues, triaging and resolving tickets or escalating to our managed service provider where needed
- Act as the internal point of contact between us and our managed service provider, tracking tickets through to resolution
- Support system administration tasks, including user accounts, permissions, device management, patching, and basic server/cloud administration
- Assist with technical implementation projects, such as new systems, rollouts, and migrations
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and support procedures
- Support cyber security hygiene tasks and build knowledge and confidence in this area over time
