IT Solution Architect
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience in solution architecture, application design, or infrastructure architecture.
- Strong understanding of enterprise, application, security, and network architecture principles.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions across Microsoft, Linux, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and multi-cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of architectural frameworks, modelling tools such as UML and ArchiMate, and IT service management best practices such as ITIL.
- Exposure to a broad range of technologies, platforms, and enterprise environments.
- Understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to business transformation and innovation.
- Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-based solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF.
- We design and analyse high-level and low-level architectural solutions to guide development across products, services, projects, systems, applications, technologies, processes, and information.
- We contribute to technology roadmaps, technical strategy, and architectural principles.
- We attend governance forums to support solution architecture assurance and compliance.
- We adhere to principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure architecture decisions align with the enterprise future-state vision.
- We contribute to the creation of new standards and patterns.
- We work closely with product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that supports future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- We work closely with the Programme Management Office or project management office to ensure delivery aligns with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle.
