Job Description

Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in project management roles, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise IT environments.
  • A track record of delivering complex technology projects, ideally within the public sector or regulated industries.
  • Experience working within programme structures and collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, governance, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and planning discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
  • PRINCE2, AgilePM, or PMP certification is desirable.
  • Familiarity with public sector delivery frameworks is desirable.
  • Understanding of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or other compliance frameworks is desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the delivery of individual projects within the wider programme, ensuring successful execution against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, RAID logs, and delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and third parties to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
  • Manage day-to-day project operations including status reporting, change control, issue resolution, and escalation.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, maintaining transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support procurement and contract activities, including vendor onboarding and service integration.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and security standards across all project work.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery processes and tools.
