Indirect Procurement Category Lead - IT Services

Salary: £83,200 - 97,917.76 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial and contractual acumen with experience managing large suppliers with significant spend
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with challenging stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to and embrace change
• Security clearance is required
• Desirable: proven experience in indirect procurement, specifically within IT and technology categories
• Desirable: professional or academic qualification in IT
• Desirable: MCIPS or studying towards it

Responsibilities:

• Undertake proactive supplier management of key IT service and software providers
• Manage supplier relationships, contract changes, escalations, risk management, and governance forums
• Address escalations from internal business stakeholders within the IT community
• Support a large-scale programme transforming how IT is procured within our organisation
• Manage transition activity from incumbent suppliers to new providers
• Engage effectively with stakeholders and support site meetings as needed
