Head of IT Products

Salary: £85,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience leading enterprise-scale technology product organisations.
• Successful implementation of product operating models within complex environments.
• Ownership of large technology portfolios, including investment prioritisation and financial accountability.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, including board-level engagement.
• Experience across a broad technology landscape including ERP, digital, data, operational technology and enterprise platforms.
• Expertise in product portfolio management, governance, benefits realisation and product lifecycle management.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing key technology suppliers and complex contracts.
• A track record of building high-performing teams and creating a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and own our technology product portfolio strategy and roadmap.
• Drive product-led thinking and embed best-practice product management across our organisation.
• Lead Product Owners and Technical Analysts to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Manage portfolio prioritisation, investment decisions and benefits realisation.
• Establish governance frameworks, adoption measures and product health reviews.
• Build strong executive stakeholder relationships and influence strategic decision making.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and vendor performance.
• Drive simplification, rationalisation and reduction of technical debt across our estate.
