Head of IT

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need a strong background in IT management.
• We need strong experience with ERP systems, ideally INFOR ERP.
• We need proven experience maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, backups, and security tools.
• We need experience ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and appropriately backed up.
• We need experience monitoring cybersecurity risks and maintaining controls around passwords, access, email security, data protection, and user permissions.
• We need experience managing Microsoft 365, email accounts, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other business systems.
• We need proven experience leading technology teams and managing IT projects.
• We need expertise in IT infrastructure, systems, and security management.
• We need strategic thinking with the ability to align IT goals with business objectives.
• We need excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• We need a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.

Responsibilities:

• We will develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• We will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the technology department.
• We will ensure the security, availability, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
• We will lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to achieve departmental goals.
• We will collaborate with other departments to identify and address technological requirements.
• We will manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
• We will evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to support business growth in the manufacturing sector.
• We will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
