Requirements:

• Strong experience with modern React frameworks, particularly Remix and/or React Router v7
• Proven ability to build SSR-ready applications with a solid understanding of progressive enhancement and its importance
• Hands-on experience developing applications using the MUI React component library
• Demonstrable experience building robust, scalable applications using TypeScript
• Experience with modern E2E testing frameworks, especially Playwright
• Strong front-end engineering mindset with attention to performance and usability
• Experience delivering high-quality, production-ready code
• Ability to work within agile, collaborative environments

We are offering a 6-month contract for a Front End Developer role in the Government/Public Sector, based in Telford with 2 days per month onsite and the remainder remote. The rate is £540 per day inside IR35, with a start date of 01/07/2026. We are looking for an experienced developer to join a high-performing team delivering modern, scalable web applications as part of the COTAX programme.
