ERP Transformation Project Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering an ERP or business management system transformation end-to-end
• Experience integrating finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting
• Strong requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation experience
• Excellent senior stakeholder and change management skills
• Background in engineering, professional services, nuclear or another regulated/project-based environment is strongly preferred
• A genuine business transformation mindset - this is not simply an IT project management role

Responsibilities:

• Leading the transformation programme to replace our core management systems, from current-state assessment and requirements definition through to ERP selection, implementation and adoption
• Acting as client-side lead, managing consultants and vendors throughout
• Overseeing integration of finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting into the new system
• Running requirements gathering and vendor selection
• Managing senior stakeholders and leading change across the business as it adopts new ways of working

We are a well-established engineering organisation of around 600 people, based in Chorley, currently replacing our core business management systems as part of a wider transformation programme. This role offers a day rate in the region of £550-£650 outside IR35 and genuine end-to-end programme ownership, from current-state assessment through to selection, implementation and adoption. As the client-side lead, we place consultants and vendors reporting into you, giving you real ownership of a major transformation programme.
