DevOps Platforms Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £33,000 - 73,000 per year
Requirements:- We require effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced business environment.
- We require the ability to plan, organise, and clearly report progress and issues.
- We require strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- We require willingness to travel within the UK for projects.
- We require the right to work in the UK.
- We require the ability to achieve UK Security Clearance.
- We require an understanding of identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
- We require experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
- We require experience with containerisation and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- We require experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools to design and implement pipelines.
- We require the ability to automate complex solutions using scripting or programming languages.
- We require experience designing and implementing robust monitoring solutions and advanced alerting strategies using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- We require experience with log aggregation and observability using the ELK or EFK stack for Kubernetes environments.
- Desirable: experience implementing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systems.
- Desirable: exposure to multi-cloud architectures and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Desirable: understanding of cloud cost-optimisation strategies.
- Desirable: relevant Azure or AWS certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, or CKA.
- We design, implement, and operate cloud-based solutions for a wide range of high-profile clients.
- We apply our expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and Kubernetes to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.
- We contribute to some of the industrys largest, most complex, and technically innovative programmes.
- We work as part of a forward-thinking team in our new purpose-built Leeds city-centre office.
