DevOps Engineer

Salary: £47,500 - 75,500 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for someone who takes pride in designing, building, and delivering high-quality, well-engineered solutions to complex problems.
• Were looking for a big-picture approach to problem-solving, with care for how solutions work within the wider system.
• You should have in-depth exposure to several key parts of our tech stack, including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, DevOps tooling, automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and public cloud platforms.
• You should have experience with programming, scripting, or automation.
• You should have a good appreciation of information security principles.
• You should have experience with infrastructure management and general Linux administration.
• Experience managing microservice-based architectures, mentoring junior engineers, or working in software build and release engineering would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Work in one of our DevOps teams within R&D on our Quantexa Cloud Platform and its accompanying solutions.
• Help improve the availability, resilience, usability, and security of our cloud-based technical infrastructure.
• Help keep our platform at the forefront of technical innovation and reduce toil across our estate.
• Work with our software engineering teams to use DevOps techniques in support of software release activities.
• Work on cloud-based product offerings that customers can use in their own DevOps processes and cloud environments.
