DevOps Engineer

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Production experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS; certifications alone are not enough
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub
• Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with GitOps processes
• Experience in database administration, preferably Postgres and MySQL
• Experience with monitoring frameworks such as Prometheus and Grafana

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the production trading infrastructure
• Automate real-time and batch jobs
• Provide ad-hoc and industry-standard development and testing tools to the development team
• Ensure the security of all systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, such as server downtime, network connectivity problems, and software errors
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address bottlenecks or issues that could impact trading operations
