Data Security Lead

Requirements:

• Strong experience with database management systems, including design, development or administration.
• Proven expertise in structured data security, data masking and anonymisation, ideally using Delphix.
• Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to start at short notice.
• Experience with mainframe technologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of data encryption technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and design authority for structured data protection.
• Analyse data dictionaries, schemas and data flows to identify sensitive data.
• Define and recommend appropriate data protection, masking and anonymisation approaches.
• Support and enhance structured data masking services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party technology vendors to deliver secure, effective solutions.
• Shape data protection strategies and support ongoing projects.
• Ensure sensitive data is identified and protected using industry best practices.
