Job Description
Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year
Requirements:- Seasoned data architect with a strong understanding of the financial services industry and how data architecture supports business objectives.
- Extensive knowledge of data architecture principles, including designing scalable, efficient, and secure data systems.
- Expertise in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes, particularly for financial services data.
- Proficiency in logical and physical data modelling, including data normalization and denormalization techniques.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions and experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and creating dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data security best practices, including regulatory standards specific to financial services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Experience with data quality rules and dimensions, and hands-on experience with triage and resolution processes.
- Proactive approach to staying current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data architecture and Microsoft technologies.
- Partner with leading financial services clients to design and implement data architecture solutions that help them use data as an asset.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their data needs, design data architectures, and develop roadmaps aligned with their business and data strategies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure architecture aligns with business goals and regulatory compliance.
- Apply knowledge of data architecture and emerging technologies to innovate and enhance data-driven strategies in financial services.
