D365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Salary: £50,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding of core BC modules such as Finance, SCM, Warehousing, Projects, Manufacturing, or similar.
• Experience delivering end-to-end implementations for Microsoft Partners or similar environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Solid documentation, workshop, and training capability.
• Desirable: experience with LS Retail, eCommerce, distribution, or retail environments.
• Desirable: knowledge of Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate.
• Desirable: Microsoft certifications such as MB-800 or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design for D365 Business Central.
• Configure, customise, and implement Business Central modules aligned to customer needs.
• Produce functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support UAT, training, go-live, and post-implementation activities.
• Advise customers on best practice, optimisation, and system improvements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
