Cyber Security Researcher Internship - Summer 2027

Salary: £30,500 - 50,500 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for students with a passion for and active interest in cybersecurity, such as ethical hacking, vulnerability research, or reverse engineering.
• Ideal candidates can demonstrate foundational knowledge and an active interest in several of the following: C, C++, or Java; Python scripting; Linux and shell use; Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges; computer networking; reverse engineering with Ghidra; ethical hacking; Android and adb shell; or hardware hacking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with others.
• Students entering their final year in 2027 may be considered for a contract with our 2028 graduate intake after completing the internship.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with peers in small teams, usually of two to three people.
• Develop the skills needed to deliver bespoke research and capabilities for our clients.
• Take on internship projects that provide direct insight into our client work and involve real demands and unsolved technical challenges.
