Job Description

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Degree or professional security qualifications and certifications such as MSc, CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent
  • Extensive experience working in Cyber Security with proven leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience
  • Experience producing policy, standards, and project documentation
  • Appropriate level of technical knowledge and hands-on experience configuring security tools
  • Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and managing information security initiatives
  • Sound understanding of security frameworks such as ISO27001/2, PCI DSS, and NIST
  • Knowledge of data protection and regulatory compliance, including FCA, ICO, PRA, and GDPR
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Cyber Security Operations team
  • Conduct cyber security maturity assessments and drive continuous improvement of existing security controls
  • Assess new tools and capabilities and recommend them to management
  • Perform cyber risk assessments and develop reporting metrics to articulate risk posture to Senior Management
  • Act as the key contact for cyber security incidents and lead incident management
  • Perform and coordinate forensic investigations and mature cyber incident detection and response capabilities
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and external bodies, including vendors, forensic partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Conduct threat hunting and monitor for emerging security threats
  • Ensure compliance with our ISMS, regulatory requirements, and information security best practice frameworks
  • Deliver key Information Security initiatives and projects aligned to our InfoSec and Cyber Security strategy and Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Ensure our IT assets are adequately protected from cyber-attacks and malicious insiders
  • Provide expert professional advice across our business on Information and Cyber Security best practice
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions
