Cyber Security Consultant

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• We need experience applying security technologies to architectures and solution designs.
• We need a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, technical concepts, and design methodologies.
• We need experience with threat modelling and developing reference architectures.
• We prefer hands-on experience in network security and/or cloud security.
• We need the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines.
• We need experience advising on risk methodologies and risk mitigations.
• We need the ability to design security architectures for complex IT solutions and transformation programmes.
• We need the ability to advise on regulatory compliance.
• We need the ability to identify security vulnerabilities in system architectures.
• We value experience working with a wide range of security technologies, including new and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• We identify and deploy innovative security solutions to real-world problems across a variety of industries.
• We work with clients and internal stakeholders to provide expert input and influence the design of large and complex IT solutions.
• We apply a range of risk methodologies and advise internal and external stakeholders on risk mitigations.
• We design security architectures for a range of IT solutions, including large digital transformation programmes.
• We provide advisory support to wider complex transformation programmes that shape the future of the UK.
• We advise clients on regulatory compliance.
• We identify security vulnerabilities in system architectures.
• We work with a wide range of security technologies, including new and emerging technologies.
• We support the development of reference architectures and threat modelling activities.
• We contribute security expertise across multiple disciplines and solution designs.
