CIAM Software Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering solutions involving authentication and authorisation.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM.
• Hands-on experience with leading CIAM platforms, including Auth0, Okta, Ping Identity, or ForgeRock.
• Front-end development experience using React, Angular, or NestJS, with React preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain authentication and authorisation services, including login, registration, and session management capabilities.
• Implement and support integrations with CIAM platforms such as Auth0, Okta, Ping Identity, and ForgeRock.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across web and mobile applications.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes.
• Develop tooling and automation to improve delivery consistency and reduce operational overhead.
• Create monitoring and alerting solutions to improve platform observability and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable customer-facing solutions.

We are supporting a major technology transformation programme and are looking for a CIAM Software Engineer to help deliver secure, scalable, and seamless customer identity experiences. This is an opportunity to join a growing team focused on modernising authentication and authorisation services and creating a unified platform that simplifies how customers access products and services.
