Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We have strong business analysis and service design capability, ideally gained in a complex, regulated or public-service environment.
  • We have experience in social housing, local authority housing, care, CareTech, health, local government or regulated services.
  • We have experience in property services, asset management, asset compliance, repairs or maintenance.
  • We have experience with CRM-enabled transformation or customer/service management platforms.
  • We have stakeholder engagement experience across operational, technical and change teams.
  • We produce high-quality documentation, including requirements, process maps, design outputs and workshop records.
  • We have experience with data modelling, data flows, reporting requirements or information capture.
  • We have experience in business analysis, service design, process analysis or business design within change or transformation.
  • We have strong analytical and problem-structuring skills.
  • We have experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping and journey mapping.
  • We can translate operational detail into clear, testable outputs.
  • We have good workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • We have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • We have a practical understanding of how systems, data and technology support business processes.
  • We take a user-centred approach, balancing customer, colleague, operational and business needs.
Responsibilities:
  • We analyse current-state property and operational services, including processes, journeys, pain points, risks and service issues.
  • We support discovery and design activity across property services, with potential future involvement in care, finance and HR.
  • We gather insight from operational data, stakeholders and existing documentation.
  • We translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and design artefacts.
  • We support user-centred service design, aligning future-state designs to user needs and business outcomes.
  • We produce process maps, service models, capability views, data flows and supporting documentation.
  • We facilitate workshops with stakeholders, SMEs and delivery teams.
  • We support CRM, CareTech, property and operational system change by defining requirements, data needs and process impacts.
  • We review solution designs and functional specifications against agreed business requirements.
  • We identify risks, assumptions, gaps and misalignment early.
  • We maintain traceability from discovery through design, build, test and implementation.

We are recruiting a permanent, remote-first Business Analyst role based in the UK, paying c. £55,000 per annum. This role sits within social housing and is initially focused on the property space, including asset management, asset compliance, repairs, maintenance and wider property services, with future opportunities to extend into care, finance and HR. You will work with business design partners, programme teams, operational SMEs, digital, data and change colleagues to shape better services, clearer requirements and successful transformation delivery across a major change portfolio. Our work is centred on grounded, practical service design aligned to user needs, business outcomes and our Target Operating Model.
