Business Analyst & Solution Design Lead

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, and Solution Designer.
• We need strong experience with system implementation, not just requirements gathering.
• We need proven ability to design practical, buildable solutions.
• We need good working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform.
• We need good working knowledge of integrations and APIs.
• We need good working knowledge of data flows between systems.
• We need understanding of how data can be used to drive improvement.
• We need understanding of how AI and automation can be applied in a business context.
• We need someone comfortable operating between business and technical teams.
• We need someone comfortable working at both high-level and detailed system level.

Responsibilities:

• We translate business outcomes into clear use cases, structured requirements, and logical delivery increments.
• We design solutions across core business systems, integrations and APIs, customer-facing platforms, and data and reporting layers.
• We define where logic should sit, how systems interact, and how data flows between platforms.
• We work closely with developers and delivery teams to review solution approaches, refine requirements, and ensure clarity and quality of build.
• We analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and manual overhead.
• We design improvements that combine systems, automation, and data.
• We define how success is measured through metrics, baselines, and expected outcomes.
• We understand how data and emerging technologies can drive transformation.
• We explore and shape opportunities involving AI-driven insights, intelligent automation, and data-led processes.
• We understand what is possible with AI, where it adds value, and how it fits into real-world solutions.
