Business Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and analyse data and turn findings into actionable recommendations
• Experience mapping business processes and identifying improvements
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or defence environment
• Experience working with ERP, MRP or other enterprise business systems
• Experience with tools such as Visio, Power BI or Jira

Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, objectives and requirements
• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements
• Interrogate business systems to produce reports, dashboards and meaningful insights
• Create process maps, business cases and supporting documentation
• Work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams to design effective solutions
• Support business change projects from initial concept through to implementation
• Facilitate workshops, meetings and stakeholder reviews
• Monitor project progress, risks and dependencies, escalating issues where required
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training and implementation activities
• Analyse data to support informed decision-making
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the organisation
