Business Analyst

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, working across digital transformation, data and technology programmes.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process mapping and gap analysis experience.
• Demonstrable experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including user story development and backlog management.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, workflow automation and business process improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure and related digital solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand business needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, document and validate business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation and service improvement.
• Produce business analysis artefacts including user stories, process maps, gap analyses and business requirements documentation.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Support Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and implementation activities.

We are partnering with an NHS organisation on a 2-month initial contract for a Business Analyst to support a portfolio of digital, data and business transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Cardiff, with a daily rate of £300 to £325 and IR35 status inside IR35. You will work across business and technical teams to shape and prioritise future digital solutions that deliver measurable business value.
