AWS/DevOps Engineer .Net/C#
Job Description
Salary: £56,000 - 96,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong AWS and DevOps experience
- Working knowledge of .NET/C# development; strong C# is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrable experience in an SRE, AWS DevOps, or similar operational engineering role
- 5+ years of recent experience
- Monitor, maintain, and support business-critical applications and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure high system availability, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Reduce operational overhead through automation and self-healing mechanisms
- Support production releases and deployment activities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure and services
- Implement cloud best practices for security, availability, scalability, and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment, provisioning, and operational workflows
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices
- Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
- Partner with development teams to streamline software delivery processes
- Drive continuous improvement across DevOps and release management practices
- Contribute to application enhancements and operational tooling using C# and .NET technologies
- Develop utilities, automation scripts, and support tools
- Assist development teams with production support and performance improvements
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide fixes where required
