AWS/DevOps Engineer .Net/C#

Salary: £56,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong AWS and DevOps experience
• Working knowledge of .NET/C# development; strong C# is preferred but not essential
• Demonstrable experience in an SRE, AWS DevOps, or similar operational engineering role
• 5+ years of recent experience

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support business-critical applications and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure high system availability, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
• Reduce operational overhead through automation and self-healing mechanisms
• Support production releases and deployment activities
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure and services
• Implement cloud best practices for security, availability, scalability, and cost optimization
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application-related issues
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Automate deployment, provisioning, and operational workflows
• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices
• Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
• Partner with development teams to streamline software delivery processes
• Drive continuous improvement across DevOps and release management practices
• Contribute to application enhancements and operational tooling using C# and .NET technologies
• Develop utilities, automation scripts, and support tools
• Assist development teams with production support and performance improvements
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide fixes where required
