Application Developer

Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience using GIT for version control and collaborative development.
• Experience using Android Kotlin for front-end development.
• A willingness to develop PoC applications where requirements may change rapidly and rework is common.
• Experience with backend development languages such as Rust, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, Web APIs, standards, and data structures.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker).
• Knowledge of DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Comfortable working in a secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our development team to design, develop, and maintain software.
• Use Kotlin Jetpack Compose for Android to develop applications.
• Ensure efficient code management and collaboration using GIT for version control.
• Deliver backend solutions using Rust, Python, or Go.
• Utilise Docker for containerisation to streamline deployment processes.
• Automate software delivery and deployment by implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to team members through code reviews.
