AI Engineer - Automation - Leeds

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including Databricks, Fabric, and Copilot
• Exposure to traditional automation techniques such as RPA
• Experience with data warehousing and data platforms such as Data Factory, Fabric, or similar
• Strong understanding of data governance

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support AI solutions
• Build data integrations across a variety of business systems
• Apply Copilot and other automation solutions
• Work with data warehousing and data platforms, including Data Factory and Fabric
• Set good standards for data practices
• Translate business problems into technical solutions
• Work with our IT division and other stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can add value

We are looking for an AI and Automation Engineer for a long-standing client in Yorkshire. The role focuses on applying proven automation techniques while progressively adopting modern AI, agent-based, and data-driven approaches to solve real-world problems. You will report to the Head of Data and work alongside our Business Intelligence and Data Engineer functions. This is a hybrid role based in Yorkshire, with 2 days a week in the office and some flexibility, although it is not remote and may involve some UK travel. The salary is up to £50,000.
