AI Business Analyst

Salary: £45,500 - 73,500 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for proven experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services, with strong exposure to Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Banking & Payments, Wealth & Asset Management, or Insurance.
• We are looking for demonstrable experience delivering business and technology change initiatives across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder management, testing, and implementation.
• We are looking for strong workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
• We are looking for experience supporting digital, data, automation, or AI-enabled transformation programmes.
• We are looking for understanding of AI technologies and the broader AI ecosystem, including Generative AI, GPT, Microsoft Copilot, agentic workflows, machine learning, NLP, and intelligent automation.
• We are looking for strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting data, identifying insights, and building recommendations.
• We are looking for familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, product operating models, and change management frameworks.
• We are looking for understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory considerations, and responsible AI principles within financial services.

Responsibilities:

• We work with stakeholders across financial services and investment banking organisations to identify, analyse, and define AI-enabled business opportunities, including Generative AI, Copilot, automation, and agentic workflow use cases.
• We lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions to understand business challenges, define target outcomes, and translate opportunities into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• We map, analyse, and optimise business processes, customer journeys, and operating models to identify opportunities for transformation, automation, and operational efficiency.
• We support delivery across the full project lifecycle, from business case development and requirements definition through to testing, UAT planning, implementation, and adoption.
• We partner with AI engineers, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to support the design, development, validation, and rollout of AI-enabled capabilities.
• We contribute to Agile and hybrid delivery programmes through backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder management, reporting, and governance activities.
• We support responsible AI adoption by contributing to governance, risk, compliance, change management, training, and business readiness activities.
• We analyse data, AI performance metrics, and operational outcomes to support continuous improvement and business value realisation.
• We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors, to drive successful programme outcomes in fast-paced, regulated environments.
• We lead workshops and gather requirements to inform functional specifications and user stories.
• We map and analyse business processes and customer journeys to identify opportunities for optimisation.
• We deliver change initiatives from business case to UAT planning and execution.
• We collaborate with diverse stakeholders and third parties to drive successful outcomes.
• We champion Agile methodologies and support continuous improvement across project lifecycles.
