AEM Developer

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with on-prem Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x) in an enterprise environment
• Deep understanding of AEM architecture, including replication and dispatcher behavior
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience supporting multi-locale implementations
• Experience working with enterprise DAM systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with marketing and creative stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into technically precise documentation
• Adobe Experience Manager certification (Developer or Architect) strongly preferred
• Experience collaborating closely with IT teams in sprint-based delivery models
• Familiarity with Adobe Target and experimentation workflows within AEM
• Experience with Adobe Analytics implementations
• Contributed to AI solutions to improve productivity and workflow efficiencies
• Strong documentation and enablement skills, including creating technical playbooks or governance guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical configuration, governance, and optimization of our multilingual web platforms using our Adobe Experience Manager-based content management system, DAM, and related platform integrations
• Translate business requirements into structured technical specifications for web templates and components
• Validate new builds before authoring use
• Support the technical execution of web releases
• Implement new web solutions
• Define requirements, review and test component behavior, manage governance standards, and ensure content is published accurately and performs as intended in production
• Troubleshoot complex issues within AEM and other web platforms, including rendering inconsistencies, permissions, workflow behaviour, and publishing errors
• Drive improvements to authoring and publishing through platform and process optimizations
• Leverage workflows, content fragments, MSM, and related AEM capabilities to improve platform structure and usage
• Work closely with marketing and technology teams to enable faster, more efficient web delivery
