Software Development Engineer in Test

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with automation testing and an understanding of object-oriented programming languages and process management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute manual and automated test scripts using modern frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST-Assured.
• Manage in-house testing tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Quality Centre, and build integrations between those tools, source code, and automation.
• Create test harnesses using appropriate programming languages and implement solutions in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop, maintain, and execute smoke, sanity, and regression test suites in line with business requirements.
• Perform white-box, black-box, end-to-end, integration, performance, UI, and security testing.
• Work closely with our development team to create automated test journeys that validate product quality before deployment and maintain our security position.
