Client Implementation Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in software delivery or integration engineering
• Experience in Linux systems, DevOps, integration engineering, SRE, or technical infrastructure
• Strong Linux, Bash, and scripting experience, including Python
• Experience with Grafana, application monitoring, or dashboards
• A curious, pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys working hands-on with production systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence representing the business to clients
• A degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• Financial markets experience is useful but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and support analytics solutions for electronic trading clients, from requirements gathering through deployment, configuration, and integration
• Build and maintain infrastructure and platform components for client environments, including complex, high-volume, real-time systems
• Develop scripts and automation workflows, primarily in Python, and support the transition away from legacy Java components
• Work directly with clients on technical onboarding, implementation, issue resolution, and product training
• Build and support dashboards and visualisations in Grafana, and explore operational data in systems such as QuestDB and InfluxDB
• Collaborate with software engineers and internal machine learning teams to shape product capabilities and reliably deploy analytics components
