Security Analyst

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Security Analyst
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable security leadership skills and experience managing third parties
• CISSP certification preferred
• Compliance knowledge, including ISO 27001, PCI and GDPR
• Knowledge of security technologies, including network appliances, firewall administration, Active Directory, IAM, PAM, SIEM, UEBA, antivirus, IDS/IPS and MDM solutions
• Understanding of common frameworks such as ITIL or LEAN preferred
• Experience with user environment management, including desktops and laptops, profile management and access control methodologies
• Proactive approach to keeping up to date with security technologies and industry trends

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for our security solutions, including third-party managed services
• Maintain the security of our network, systems and data
• Monitor security access and manage IDS/IPS configurations
• Establish and implement security best-practice standards, policies and procedures
• Conduct security scanning and ensure vulnerabilities are remediated efficiently
• Analyse security incidents to determine their root causes
• Determine, recommend and implement security upgrades, measures and controls
• Deliver security responses to meet customer and client compliance requirements
• Develop and manage security plans with vendors
• Audit administrator activities and conduct security awareness training

We are a recognised brand based in London and are recruiting a full-time, permanent Security Analyst. The role is based in Paddington, with some remote working possible. The salary is £65,000 to £75,000, plus benefits.
