Senior Cloud Auditor

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive combined cloud and AI experience
• Bachelors degree or relevant financial services experience
• Deep understanding of generative AI and agentic security risks, such as prompt injection and data poisoning
• Experience threat modeling, risk assessing, or auditing cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure), generative AI or agentic systems, and tool integrations (A2A, MCP)
• Recognized cloud security certification, such as CCSP, CCSK, or an AWS certification
• Solid understanding of internal control concepts and ability to evaluate control adequacy by considering business and technology risks together
• Knowledge of system development life cycle concepts and ability to learn complex, distributed computing environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex, sensitive issues to senior management and influence change
• Preferred: Degree and background in technology
• Preferred: Related professional certification, such as CISA or CISSP

Responsibilities:

• Support our subject matter expert program for cloud and AI audit capabilities within the department
• Support end-to-end cloud audits using a risk-focused approach and in accordance with departmental and professional standards
• Support integrated reviews of AI- and cyber-related risks for our technology products and business applications
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders about audit scope, risks, and issues
• Evaluate, test, and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of our cloud control environment
• Analyze risks and proactively identify root causes, recommending improvements where weaknesses are identified
• Finalize audit findings and use judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment
• Communicate audit results and issues clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, to Audit management and senior stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, fostering engagement, effective teamwork, value creation, and innovative thinking
