Business Analyst

Salary: £42,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 3 years commercial experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Effective relationship-building, communication, management, collaboration and team skills
• Understanding customers and guiding them to the best solution through workshopping, mapping, interviews etc
• The ability to understand and interpret different functions inside an organisation in order to determine business needs, requirements, ideation etc
• The ability to produce appropriate and comprehensive documentation that supports and informs upcoming work
• Comfortable with challenging the status quo
• Must be proficient in using various business intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards
• Sound knowledge of tools such as Jira and Visio to best industry practice
• Excellent consultative and rapport-building skills
• Excellent facilitation and visualisation skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Strong decision-making abilities
• Strong organisational skills

• Financial and Government experience is preferable, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a bridge between business needs, user needs and technical limitations so that requirements and solutions deliver the desired outcomes
• Work within our delivery teams or within a clients team
• Use communication and interpersonal skills at different phases of the project, including launch, collecting business and user requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and validating the final solution
