OT Cyber Security Practice Director

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone who has led an OT security practice, business unit or professional services function, with evidence of developing both people and commercial performance.
• We need someone who understands how consulting businesses operate, including qualifying opportunities, scoping engagements, deploying resources and building long-term relationships.
• We need strong OT security knowledge, including understanding industrial control environments and practical considerations around architecture, asset visibility, secure access, detection and incident response.
• Experience applying IEC 62443, NCSC CAF and relevant regulatory frameworks is important, along with the ability to translate technical risk into clear business decisions.
• We are looking for experience managing complex customers and senior stakeholders.
• We value a track record of mentoring, coaching and improving team performance.
• We want evidence of developing propositions or opening new commercial opportunities.
• We are looking for an established network within industrial cybersecurity or critical infrastructure.
• Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent expertise are required.
• A background spanning consultancy and industry would be welcome.
• Applicants must hold SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo vetting.

Responsibilities:

• We will expect you to translate market opportunity into a clear business plan, aligning service development, people and client activity around achievable priorities.
• We will rely on you to develop the business by identifying opportunities, strengthening partnerships and shaping services that address customers evolving OT risks.
• You will lead strategic accounts by building executive relationships, guiding complex conversations and sponsoring significant engagements.
• You will create commercial momentum by working with sales and account teams on proposals, bids, new business and account expansion.
• You will build organisational capability by developing technical leaders, coaching consultants and establishing the structures and career paths needed to support growth.
• You will connect expertise across the business by bringing together consulting, engineering and operational security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• You will represent the practice by contributing to industry discussions, developing professional relationships and strengthening our market presence.
• Growth, profitability, delivery quality and customer confidence will form part of your responsibility.
• Client-site travel will be required.
