Solutions Architect

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experienced Solutions Architect with a background in managed WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and security services
• Good understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi technologies, including CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh networking and wireless controllers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to balance technical excellence with customer and business requirements
• Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass BPSS and relevant security clearance checks

Responsibilities:

• Design tailored LAN and WAN solutions aligned to customer requirements and technical capabilities
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling technical propositions
• Lead technical discussions, customer meetings and solution reviews, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), network schematics and associated solution documentation
• Collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales and Account Management teams to support new business opportunities, renewals and existing customer relationships
• Ensure solutions are technically robust, commercially viable and deliver long-term customer value
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity information within CRM systems
• Contribute to the development of a significant sales pipeline and support the wider pre-sales function

We are a growing technical team based in Solihull, working in a hybrid pattern of approximately 2 days per month in the office. This role offers a salary of £65,000 - £80,000, plus commission and car allowance, along with 33 days holiday including bank holidays, private medical insurance and enhanced pension contributions.
