Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve reusable Web Components
• Develop components using JavaScript and native web technologies
• Solve complex frontend and UI problems with simple, scalable solutions
• Build components that can be reused across different products and contexts
• Consider accessibility, semantics and usability throughout development
• Work closely with UX, design and engineering teams
• Help translate design requirements into robust technical solutions
• Maintain consistency and quality across a wider design system
• Communicate technical decisions clearly with stakeholders
• Contribute to the longer-term direction and evolution of the design system

We are a large-scale organisation looking for a Senior Design System Engineer to help build, evolve and maintain the components at the heart of our digital products. This is a contract role for a minimum of 6 months, based in Windsor with one day per week in the office. We offer the opportunity to work on design systems at genuine scale, with autonomy to solve interesting frontend problems while collaborating closely with engineering, UX and design teams.
