Backend Software Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong back-end software and/or systems engineering experience, with examples of platforms or systems we have personally helped build.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a technology-agnostic approach to solving engineering problems.
• A demonstrable interest in AI, including practical examples of how we use AI tools to make our engineering work more efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and improve scalable back-end services, systems and platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services within a Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Use AI and modern engineering tools to improve development workflows, problem-solving and day-to-day efficiency.
