UX Designer

Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 3+ years of design experience.
• We require an online portfolio or work samples on the resume demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices.
• We require experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
• We require experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
• We require knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Preferred: experience acquiring user data, conducting usability studies, performing user research, and creating personas and journey maps.
• Preferred: experience in mass-market consumer web/mobile products.
• Preferred: visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides.

Responsibilities:

• We own end-to-end design delivery for multiple concurrent projects, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready specifications.
• We facilitate regular design consultation sessions and provide expert feedback to product teams on in-progress and pre-launch work.
• We conduct design quality assurance on shipped features and identify discrepancies between design intent and implementation.
• We build and maintain a domain-specific pattern library that extends our corporate design system with reusable components.
• We run regular design office hours and offer guidance and early directional feedback to teams that need it.
• We conduct user research, including shadows, interviews, and usability tests, to validate decisions and surface unmet needs.
• We contribute to cross-team experience strategy, information architecture, and the long-term vision for a unified product suite.
• We collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive experiences.
