Associate Director - Technical Architect, Microsoft D365 F&O

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require deep understanding of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations product and the wider D365 platform from a technical perspective, including key finance and supply chain processes as they are modelled in F&O and as they operate in a business as a whole.
• We require proficiency in X++ and .Net to a level that supports code review and assurance.
• We require extensive experience in the design and implementation of integrations, data schemas and complex application extensions.
• We require understanding of licensing models.
• We require experience in environment management.
• We require working knowledge of Fabric, Synapse and data lake technologies.
• We require relevant experience with multiple full life-cycle implementations of MS D365 F&O.
• We require knowledge and experience in ERP implementation methodology and principles.

Responsibilities:

• We act as the technical expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, its platform, technologies and capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 enabled transformation programmes.
• We bring a deep understanding of the wider Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, CE, dual write and Power Platform, alongside emerging technologies such as AI.
• We define and deliver technical architecture, environment management, integrations and data strategies.
• We ensure best practice in every aspect of a technical solution, promoting the use of appropriate design patterns for application extensions, data and integrations.
• We lead and guide offshore teams through the Global Delivery Network.
• We provide quality assurance for code and technical due diligence for functional designs.
• We support the functional team in defining the technical case for MS D365 F&O enabled finance transformation.
• We share our domain experience to support development of internal capability in our UK MS D365 F&O team through knowledge-sharing sessions.
• We become a trusted advisor to client teams, helping them solve business problems through technology-enabled change.
• We lead the technical design and architecture of D365 F&O solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• We lead R&D projects for go-to-market accelerators.
• We provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to technical standards.
• We collaborate closely with clients to understand their business processes and technical requirements, translating them into effective D365 F&O solutions.
• We continuously evaluate and optimize D365 F&O solutions for performance, scalability and maintainability.
