Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require 7–10 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or consulting roles, including at least 3+ years in Snowflake solution architecture.
  • We ideally look for SnowPro Core certification or above.
  • We require a university degree.
  • We prefer a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • We strongly prefer Snowflake certification(s).
  • We seek proven expertise in designing and implementing Snowflake architectures for enterprise clients.
  • We value strong consulting experience and the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • We require hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools.
  • We look for a deep understanding of the data lifecycle, including ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption.
  • We need the ability to link business objectives with technology strategy and execution.
  • We value strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • We seek experience leading data modernisation initiatives across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
  • We engage with clients to support delivery and provide trusted-advisor guidance.
  • We design and implement Snowflake-based cloud data platforms that are scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs.
  • We lead migration and modernisation efforts for enterprise data platforms.
  • We share thought leadership and knowledge across the practice and with clients.
  • We collaborate with client partners, business stakeholders, practice leaders, and technical teams.
  • We build peer-level relationships within client organisations up to Head of Data Engineering, Head of Data Architecture, and Chief Data Architect level.
  • We apply Snowflake features such as data sharing, Snowpark, zero-copy cloning, and performance tuning.
  • We work across cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • We implement large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines using custom and packaged tools.
  • We support data security, governance, and compliance approaches.
  • We contribute to practice growth through assets, propositions, and thought leadership.
