Requirements:
  • We require intermediate or advanced cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or OCI above Fundamentals level.
  • We require eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
  • We are looking for experience with Azure.
  • We are looking for experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
  • We need understanding of cloud networking and identity fundamentals.
  • We need familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • We are looking for experience working in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering environments.
  • We require experience working within ITIL frameworks.
  • We need the ability to automate repetitive tasks using scripting such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • We need understanding of cloud governance basics, including tagging, policies, and cost controls.
  • We value a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • We need the ability to follow architectural standards and engineering guidance.
  • We require clear communication with engineering and operations teams.
  • Desirable experience includes designing or supporting enterprise network environments, including routing, firewalls, DNS, and private connectivity.
  • Desirable experience includes administering and supporting Windows Server environments, including Active Directory integration, patching, and hardening.
  • Desirable experience includes administering and supporting Unix/Linux systems, including configuration management and security hardening.
  • Desirable experience includes exposure to container platforms and Kubernetes.
  • Desirable experience includes integrating monitoring and observability tooling.
Responsibilities:
  • We implement and maintain cloud landing zones, account and subscription structures, and baseline configurations.
  • We provision and manage shared platform services such as network hubs, identity integrations, and management groups.
  • We implement cloud IAM policies, role-based access control, and federated identity integration.
  • We automate identity provisioning and access workflows where possible.
  • We build and maintain cloud networking components, including VNets, VPCs, routing, DNS, gateways, and private endpoints.
  • We support connectivity patterns such as hub-and-spoke and private connectivity to on-premises environments.
  • We develop and maintain Terraform templates and modules.
  • We support CI/CD pipelines for platform provisioning and automation.
  • We ensure environments are built consistently using code-driven approaches.
  • We contribute to automation tooling, scripts, and internal platform tooling.
  • We support self-service capabilities for application and product teams.
  • We support day-to-day platform operations and incident response.
  • We apply patches, upgrades, and maintenance to platform components.
  • We assist with onboarding new cloud environments and subscriptions or accounts.
  • We maintain engineering documentation, runbooks, and platform patterns.
  • We collaborate with Security, FinOps, and Platform Services teams to embed operational and governance controls.
  • We maintain landing zones, IAM integrations, networking, and IaC pipelines as part of BAU.
  • We respond to platform incidents and support requests.
  • We perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and configuration management.
  • We implement new platform capabilities and architectural enhancements.
  • We improve automation, self-service, and developer experience.
  • We refactor platform components to improve security, scalability, and reliability.
