Technical Consultant Windows Security

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Technical Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role
• Deep understanding of Windows Servers / Microsoft products
• Broad technical understanding of data security, risk analysis and threat modelling techniques used in the Information Security space
• High level knowledge of Linux, networking, firewalls, VPN configuration, Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Proactive, analytical approach with advanced problem-solving abilities
• Must be eligible to achieve DV Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from pre-sales and solution design through to implementation, training and ongoing success
• Collaborate with customers, partners, Product Management and Engineering teams
• Lead technical workshops, proof of concepts, architecture discussions and product demonstrations
• Tailor solutions to customer needs and deliver them to a high standard
• Become a subject matter expert across the product portfolio and provide technical guidance during the sales process
• Help customers realise long-term value from their investment
• Feed customer insights back into Engineering and Product teams to help shape product direction
• Support partner enablement
• Deliver technical training
• Identify new business opportunities
• Drive product adoption and market growth
