Environments and Release Lead
Job Description
Salary: £65,000 - 68,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience in Release Management, Change Management, Environment Management, or Service Transition.
- Experience coordinating releases across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Strong understanding of release, change, and service management best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
- Strong planning, governance, and risk management capabilities.
- Experience supporting CAB processes and major deployment activities.
- ITIL knowledge or certification.
- Experience within large-scale or complex enterprise environments.
- Continuous improvement and process optimisation experience.
- Understanding of incident, problem, and continuity management.
- Own and manage the release calendar across multiple technology platforms.
- Coordinate environment availability across Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Lead release planning and deployment readiness activities.
- Review implementation plans, testing evidence, and release readiness criteria.
- Chair and contribute to Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Identify and mitigate release, deployment, and environment risks.
- Coordinate go-live activities and ensure smooth operational handover.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of release and environment management processes.
