Java Tech Lead

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Java Tech Lead with prior experience in the iGaming, betting, or FS industries.
• We need strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• We need experience with REST APIs and Kafka event-driven systems.
• We need experience with AWS, including S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and MSK.
• We need experience with TDD, CI/CD, and IaC.
• We value observability experience.
• We value AI-assisted engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

• We will deliver a greenfield project for a large client in the iGaming industry.
• We will lead a product-based team with a you build it, you run it mentality.
• We will own all aspects of the systems we work on, from design through to deployment and production support.

We are a software consultancy offering an initial 6-month outside IR35 contract paying up to 600pd. This role is based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, England, within our Software Engineering team in the IT and Digital sector. We are working on a greenfield project for a large client in the iGaming industry and are seeking someone to play an important role on the team.
