IT Support Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience working in a 1st or 2nd Line Technical Support position, helping users resolve technical cases.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems with a basic understanding of LAN and WAN technologies.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems, LAN and WAN technologies, and IT security fundamentals.
• Exposure to working with or administering Active Directory.
• Experience supporting applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Experience supporting other applications such as Adobe, Print Management, or VoIP technology is beneficial but not essential.
• A basic understanding of IT security fundamentals.
• A passion for troubleshooting and a natural problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A desire to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Join our internal IT team and support our users on-site in Bracknell.
• Act as the first point of contact for resolving technical cases, including VIP support.
• Shadow our IT Manager and help run new projects to support the development of our IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot technical issues for internal users.
• Administrate and maintain our core infrastructure.
• Learn and work with new technologies as part of our growing team.
