Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong background in software testing methodologies, including exploratory, smoke, and regression testing.
• Solid experience or exposure working with Playwright and TypeScript to build automation suites.
• Proven experience with API testing tools such as Postman and database management using SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Jenkins.
• Exposure to mobile testing, BrowserStack, or Google Analytics testing is desirable.
• Clear, precise communication skills with a commercial and critical-thinking mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for web applications.
• Embed automated Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, AWS, and Azure, to enable continuous testing.
• Participate in 3 Amigos sessions to design testability into features and define strict automation acceptance criteria.
• Construct robust API automation tests using tools like Postman alongside SQL database verification scripts.
• Balance automated regression suites with focused, high-value exploratory and smoke testing for new features.
• Review automated test execution logs, debug failures, and communicate technical risks clearly to developers and product stakeholders.
